I hope you enjoy it.

Quote:
“With great power comes great responsibility.”
"With great power comes great responsibility" is an adage popularized by Spider-Man in Marvel comics, films, and related media. Introduced by Stan Lee, it originally appeared as a closing narration in the 1962 Amazing Fantasy #15 and was later attributed to Uncle Ben as advice to the young Peter Parker. The idea—similar to the 1st century BC parable of the Sword of Damocles and the medieval principle of noblesse oblige—is that power cannot simply be enjoyed for its privileges alone but necessarily makes its holders morally responsible both for what they choose to do with it and for what they fail to do with it.
The recent AI explosion has me pondering this quote.
Technology can reconfigure the world in the blink of an eye. We should all be at full attention. The next moves by the AI tech giants will redefine our future.
Article:
The world's first blockchain-powered election just happened in a war-torn, poor country
It’s always amazing how blockchain and web3 are more readily adopted in emerging markets and impoverished countries. But it shouldn’t be. There is more pushback in developed economies because incumbents don’t want to give up position and power.
This article discusses an election in Sierra Leone where the voting was done manually on paper ballots and recorded via Blockchain. That was four years ago. It’s time for the developed world to get up to speed.

Mental Models for Navigating Crypto Markets & Cycles
Web3 can seem chaotic, but when you zoom out it all makes sense.
This high-level conversation between Chris Dixon, Eddy Lazzarin, and host Sonal Chokshi cuts through the noise and focuses on what’s real—the technology, and what’s not—the hype or cynicism.
It’s a great podcast to revisit to understand what’s really happening in web3.

Will NFTs kill traditional art?
I enjoyed this thread from Cozomo, especially these words:
We are the market makers now.
We decide which art defines this generation.
We are the digital renaissance.
And we are just getting started.

Become a Web3 Leader
I’ve been updating my online course: Become a Web3 Leader.
The fourth cohort runs January 25 - 27.
Last year, we helped more than 100 professionals, artists, and founders from every continent transition to web3, and the course has a solid 9.8 rating.
Here’s what some people said:
This course ticks all the boxes: insightful, inspiring, and some great networking opportunities with thought leaders in the space. I had been in web3 for a while and still feel like I learned so much. Misha's passion is contagious, I left more motivated to build a career in web3 than ever.
Misha can't help but ignite a fire inside the people she teaches. Her passion is contagious and, as a beginner in this space, it would have been easy for me to feel overwhelmed with some of the content. Strangely enough, I have far more clarity now than when I started. But, I have so much more than that. For the first time, in a long time, I know exactly what I have to do and that is down to Misha. She truly sees people and has the ability to talk right to the heart of who you are. She's wonderful and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone thinking of taking her course.
The title is to the point. You'll get what you've bought. Excellent course, with the perfect structure: Mindset, Insights, Tools, and valuable Feedback, everything you need to become a web3 leader. Misha will bring you up to speed in no time.
I am so grateful to have taken this course as it has set me on the trajectory to explore Web 3 more. The course was insightful and a great eye-opener for me. I loved Misha's practical training method that incorporated guest speakers and participation from all attendees- truly brilliant. It made learning fun and applicable!
