Exactly this! Some crypto bros have lost sight of the mission due to greed and hyperbole. Web3 built on blockchain, total decentralization, is the path to break the chains of surveillance and servitude.

I would love to find web3 collaborators to support my “trauma informed” initiative. Looking for intellectually curious organizations ready to tackle the toughest problem to serve humanity.

what about the building industry, and the food, energy and water nexus; could you expand on these equally important subjects?

my expertise is in parametric design to robotic production, and in my work I am fully prepared for producing only when needed and as needed; we have established a direct link from the design file to the CNC production, which is highly efficient.

how would that be related to the web3 and blockchain?

we always worked with concurrent versioning systems [CVS], which gives a full traceability [history] of the design to production process.

why would we need the linear blockchain, just when we were aiming at "unchaining" the building industry?

Great points. I would have to dive into the specifics to answer it properly. But web3 and blockchain have a range of solutions for businesses. We're finding that most industries will end up using one or more blockchain-based solutions in the near future.

Hi ! The topic of government control always evokes mixed feelings in me. Maybe privacy is possible, but that leaves no checks on the kind of content that is exchanged, and we know that human tendencies are not always honorable. I am not sure where the accountability is going to come from.

Great primer. If the article could have included real-world use cases in practice - would have been even better.

Great thought of web3 and I feel replacement is not solution but co-existence is solution as potential hazard of frontier tech in mainstream is not easy to adopt due to human mind limited capability to accept and adapt radical shifts .

Another point intriguing me is existence of current form of democracy and capitalism which requires major overhaul and web3 and beyond web3 has power to change the desired for good and welfare of humanity .
